Here’s What’s Happening Around Northport during February 2018

Sunday February 11th – BINGO Sponsored by the Northport Lions Club, 1pm to 4pm. A portion of this session’s proceeds benefit the Northport High School Robotics Team. Members of the Robotics Team will be assisting the Lions with setup & clean up and will be selling concessions to raise funds for team-related expenses.  Refreshments provided. Doors open at 12noon, games start at 1pm. Location, Northport School Cafeteria. Must be 18 to play. Early bird games, regular games, fast pick, and $500 blackout jackpot. NOTE: Historically the requirement to win the $500 dollar Blackout jackpot has been to completely fill out a bingo card within the first fifty called numbers. This year the Northport Lions Club altered the rules to allow the called number threshold to increase, by one, each month the jackpot is not awarded.  The jackpot was not awarded in the January session so the February session’s threshold is 54 numbers! Bring friends and family!

The Northport Lions Club meets on the second Thursday of the month at 5:30 pm at the Northport Town Hall. Lions clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs. For more information or to get involved with the Northport Lions Club, please contact Ken Scott at kenscott99157@gmail.com.
