Sunday January 6th – The Northport Lions Club is hosting its monthly bingo session. From noon to 4:00 pm in the Northport school cafeteria at 404 10th Street in Northport. Games include Early Bird, Regular, Fast Pick and Blackout with a $500 Jackpot. Doors open at noon and play begins at 1 pm. U.S. and Canadian currency welcome; participants must be at least 18 years of age to play. The requirement to win the $500 dollar Blackout jackpot is to completely fill out a bingo card within the first fifty called numbers; however, if the jackpot is not awarded, the called number threshold for the next session increases by one. The jackpot was awarded during the last event so the January 6th session’s threshold is 50 numbers! Complimentary popcorn and sweets will be provided. All proceeds from bingo play and concessions sales will benefit the many community projects the Lions Club sponsors throughout the year. Bring your friends and family to support your local Lions Club!
The Northport Lions Club meets on the second Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm at the Northport Town Hall. Lions clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs. For more information or to get involved with the Northport Lions Club, please contact Ken Scott at firstname.lastname@example.org.
