Monday November 12th – 2nd Annual Northport Veterans Day Dinner – All Veterans, their spouses and children are invited. 5:30pm at the CE Building, (the Bible Church), 501 Center Ave. in Northport. Being served will be: Homemade soup, salad, bread, and dessert. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! Sponsored by New Hope Church, Bible Church, and Marble Church.
Monday November 12th to 16th – NEW Health Programs Association to Celebrating Veterans Day & 40th Anniversary –
We are honored to acknowledge that our 40th Anniversary falls during the same week as Veterans Day. During this special week, beginning with Veterans Day on November 11th and ending with our 40th Anniversary on November 16th, we at NEW Health Programs Association (NEWHP) are celebrating by appreciating our patients and veterans.
Patients can enter a drawing for a $100 Amazon Gift Card by visiting one of the NEWHP clinics, located in Colville, Chewelah, Springdale, Loon Lake, Nine Mile Falls, Northport and Ione. Visitors can also leave a personalized thank you card for a veteran and take home information on how to provide meaningful support to veterans.

First Tuesday of Each Month (Northport Volunteer Fire Department) – The Northport Volunteer Fire Department has its monthly meetings and trainings at the NP Fire Hall on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6pm. And that they are always looking for more volunteers and to please consider volunteering to help our community.

NCPR Collecting Aluminum Cans – Hello NCPR friends! We are always taking aluminum cans for the continued success of the programs we offer. If you have a bag or two or three, just bring them to the back of the Community Center out by the old broken-down shed (the funds could go to help us fix that…). Your monetary donations are always also greatly appreciated and can be sent to our PO Box 967, Northport, WA, 99157. Thanks for all your support! Oh, and we always are in need of volunteers, so time to step up to the community service plate!
“Lunch & Shopping” at the 7th Day Adventist Cookhouse Cottage – Every first and third Thursday of the month from 12noon to 3pm they serve a free vegan meal (unbelievably delicious, big servings) but accepts cash donations. The food is next to their (almost) free clothes store in the same cottage. Any persons of any age and religious/cultural background will have a good time with the friendly servers! Northport Historical Society – Regular monthly meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 5:00pm. We will be meeting in the Welcome Center (formerly known as the Gallo House) on Center Ave. Come see what we are doing.
