Northport Labor Day Weekend Activities:

Wood Log Raffle – watch for ticket sales throughout the weekend

 11:00am North East Washington Camp & Jam Band activities begin (see schedule below)

 The Mansfield Family will be hosting the North East Washington Camp & Jam Band Scramble Sunday September 2nd. Sign ups are all weekend leading up to Sunday morning when bands will be chosen. Contestants name their band and come up with songs for their performance and are judged! Prizes for the winners!
The Camp & Jam takes place at the Northport International Raceway and the old adjacent airstrip on Big Sheep Creek Road. Aug 31 – Sept 3. Check out our Facebook page and website (www.tricountymusic.org) for more about this great 4 day music event!!  (SEE DAILY SCHEDULE BELOW)

  8am – 11:00am Fireman’s Breakfast at the Northport Fire Hall

 11:00am North East Washington Camp & Jam Band activities begin (see schedule below)

 11:00am  American Legion Post 158 Obstacle Course for children 3 to 9 years of age Registration starts @ 10:30am in front of the Fire Hall. Course run begins at 11:00pm.

The Northport Medical Clinic will be selling ice cream throughout the morning.

 11:00am  Lions Club Fun Run.  Registration starts @ 10:30am in front of the Fire Hall, run begins at 11:00pm.

 11:30pm  Watermelon Eating Contest In front of Fire Hall

 Pie and Ice Cream for sale by Northport Medical Clinic at the Park throughout the day

 Beer Garden 11:00am. – 5:00pm. 




Saturday Sept 8th – 2018 Salsa Fiesta at China Bend Winery –  Noon – 5:00.  Admission $5.00, Live Music. A family affair! Victory will have a Salsa Tasting Bar set up where you can sample a wide variety of Victory’s Salsas.  There will also be gourmet foods available, and a variety of Arts & Crafts, Dancing, and, of course, Organic Wine Tasting. First Tuesday of Each Month (Northport Volunteer Fire Department) – The Northport Volunteer Fire Department has its monthly meetings and trainings at the NP Fire Hall on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6pm. And that they are always looking for more volunteers and to please consider volunteering to help our community.


Every Tuesday MorningNorthport Community Library Storytime – Tues. mornings at 10:30 until 11, recommended ages 2-5. Library hours are: Tues. 11am – 6pm, Thurs. 10am – 6pm, Sat. 10am – 4pm. 732-8928

NCPR Collecting Aluminum Cans – Hello NCPR friends! We are always taking aluminum cans for the continued success of the programs we offer. If you have a bag or two or three, just bring them to the back of the Community Center out by the old broken-down shed (the funds could go to help us fix that…). Your monetary donations are always also greatly appreciated and can be sent to our PO Box 967, Northport, WA, 99157. Thanks for all your support! Oh, and we always are in need of volunteers, so time to step up to the community service plate!


“Lunch & Shopping” at the 7th Day Adventist Cookhouse Cottage – Every first and third Thursday of the month from 12noon to 3pm they serve a free vegan meal (unbelievably delicious, big servings) but accepts cash donations. The food is next to their (almost) free clothes store in the same cottage.  Any persons of any age and religious/cultural background will have a good time with the friendly servers! Located next to the 7th Day Adventist Church at, 714 Center Ave, Northport, WA

Northport Historical Society – Regular monthly meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 5:00pm. Note: Northport Transfer Station – The Stevens County Transfer Station near Northport has changed its Saturday hours which will now be 10am to 2pm year round.
