Saturday May 19 & Sunday May 20 – Catch 22 Shootout – The Big Voice is hosting a shooting event at Bull Hill Training Ranch, 9am to 5pm each day. The Catch 22 Memorial Day Shootout is a fundraiser for the all-Veteran AFF Patriots Shooting Team that will be represented in shooting competitions throughout the United States. It is open to all participants, civilian or Veteran, beginner to expert level, with sponsorship opportunities available for Veterans interested in participating. The two-day event provides a chance for Veterans and their civilian allies to congregate, building new relationships and forging old ones. Directions: Heading north on Hwy 25, go through the town of Northport, across the Northport/Columbia River bridge. First Tuesday of Each Month (Northport Volunteer Fire Department) – The Northport Volunteer Fire Department has its monthly meetings and trainings at the NP Fire Hall on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6pm. And that they are always looking for more volunteers and to please consider volunteering to help our community.

NCPR Collecting Aluminum Cans – Hello NCPR friends! We are always taking aluminum cans for the continued success of the programs we offer. If you have a bag or two or three, just bring them to the back of the Community Center out by the old broken-down shed (the funds could go to help us fix that…). Your monetary donations are always also greatly appreciated and can be sent to our PO Box 967, Northport, WA, 99157. Thanks for all your support! Oh, and we always are in need of volunteers, so time to step up to the community service plate!
“Lunch & Shopping” at the 7th Day Adventist Cookhouse Cottage – Every first and third Thursday of the month from 12noon to 3pm they serve a free vegan meal (unbelievably delicious, big servings) but accepts cash donations. The food is next to their (almost) free clothes store in the same cottage. Any persons of any age and religious/cultural background will have a good time with the friendly servers! Northport Historical Society – Regular monthly meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 5:00pm. We will be meeting in the Welcome Center (formerly known as the Gallo House) on Center Ave. Come see what we are doing.
